Abstract (EN)
The aim of this sudy is to evaluate the views of the teachers and the students about authorship and writng skills course. Thus, content analysis method is used. The target population of the study is 4 Turkish teacher working in the center of Malatya province and 63 fifth grade students attending the authorsip and writng skills course. Two different interview form is used for teachers and students in order to collect data. There are open ended questions in interview forms to learn the views of teachers and students. Answers for each question in interview forms is analysed by content analyses method. As a result of study, it is pointed out that teachers of authorship and writng skills course are not performing the courses according to authorship and writng skills course programme but according to thier own views and wishes. It is appointed that tecahers mostly making the students write on compositions and poems and they most frequently apply the drama method. It is understood that some of the teachers have no idea about the programme, skills and the acquirements of the course. However, the students attending this study like the course, eager to write, have a positive attitude towards the course and see the courses as a drama and composition course. Based on the results of the study various suggestions are made. Key Words: authorship, writing skills, authorship and writing skills teaching programme.
