Abstract (EN)
Yazidjioghlu Muhammed Efendi and Ahmad Bidjan are two representative names of the Ottoman sufism history. Their written works were read and commented on literally and even translated into other languages both in and out of Ottoman land. Yazidjioghlu Brothers who were at the same time the disciples and successors of Hadji Bayrâm-ı Velî. The brothers wrote many books but Muhammed Efendi's verse Muhammadiyyah and Ahmad Bidjan's prose Anwâr al-âshıqîn have been accepted as two books that were read mostly by the scholars, sufi environments and the public. Even though these two are their foremost works the book titled Megâribü'z-zamân li-gurûbi'l-eşyâ fi'l-ayn ve'l-ıyân written by Muhammed Efendi and which is also the source text of Muhammadiyyah and Anwâr al-âshıqîn have not been printed and stayed as a manuscript. And Muhammed Efendi wrote a commentary on the Fusûs al-Hıkam of Ibn Arabi while Ahmed Bidjan wrote two. But the differences among these books have not been specified throughly and their sufistic relations have not been organised yet. It would be so hard without these studies to follow the course of the sufistic views of Yazidjioghlu brothers and to understand the style of them and to comprehend the reasons of their influences on Ottoman land for such a long time. Therefore; It becomes more significant to determine the scientific, sufistic and literal atmosphere of the time that Yazidjioghlu brothers raised in and to relate them to these atmosphere both intellectually and mannerly. In this work, after determining the scientific lives of them; the works of Yazidjioghlu brothers will be tried to be identified and analysed and their "sufistic" influences on the Ottomans will be studied within the frame of their sufistic views and the related historical incidents. Regarding all these; distinguishing views and stance of Yazidjioghlu brothers as disciples and successors of Bayrâmî order will be tried to be put forward.
