Özet (EN)

It is known that; nowadays, people are effected from colour combination in surroundings and different people make different reactions to the same stimulants. The quality of lighting is quite important in places where people are in. The main characteristics that determine the quality of lighting, are the qualitative or quantitative features of light flow. Quantitative features are being considered as light flow, greatness and lighting level. Qualitative features are colour heat of light and colour return. As well as these main characteristics, there are lateral characteristics such as, luminance etc. Although, there are excellent applications including the ideal quantitative and qualitative characteristics, they cost so much.At this thesis, lighting level and colour heat values are optimized by using a sensor. Data groups are gathered, by measuring the colour heat and lighting level, via a colour sensor. It?s aimed to make colour and lighting level of mediums approach to the desired level by combining these data groups mentioned above, with the PLC and PIC Microprocessors. At this thesis, some measures were done to observe the difference of lighting quality and productivity when the sensor is put to the different positions in lighting area. The best sensor position was gathered by analysing the measures done. Set values, used for lighting, were described according to the lighting parametres and were made more clear to understand. Not only set value but also the analogue voltage value, read from sensor, was formed to digital data by being used the analogue digital transform cards which were designed by PIC microprocessors. These digital datas were compared by using PLC device and the difference between two datas was compansated with the light sources used. Owing to the case that sensor reads day lights, not only was energy saving done but also measurable saving ratios were gathered.Key WordsPLC (Programmable Logic Controller) , PIC16F877, automation of lighting, software, colour, light
