Analyzing of the relationship between system usability perceptions and communication competences of managers and employees in software sector: Adana Technocity case

The aim of this study is to determine the system usability perceptions of the employees in the software sector and to determine whether there is a relationship according to the communication competencies of the employees and managers. The data required for the study were received by the online survey method and participants were informed before the questionnaire was completed. While 64 participants responded to the study, data of 50 people were analyzed with SPSS 25.0 package program because 50 employees were using the system they created. Reliability, normality and correlation analyzes were performed. Although the results of the study did not support the relationship between system usability perceptions and communication competencies of the managers and employees working in the software sector, the hypotheses predicting the relationship between individual aspects of communication, compliance adequacy and sensitivity adequacy were supported. Accordingly, the relationship between system usability perceptions and subfactors of communication competencies was significant and positive. Also, a significant difference was detected in the system usability perceptions among the administrative and technical officers who are among the company's duties.
