Özet (EN)

In this study, acrylamide based anionic semi-IPNs and hydrogels containing sodium acrylate, sodium methacrylate and sodium styrene sulfonate as comonomers are synthesized. For semi-IPN synthesis, linear chain poly(ethylene glycol) was used. Semi-IPNs and hydrogels were prepared by free radical polymerization in aqueous solution using poly(ethylene glycol)diacrylate and poly(ethylene glycol)dimethacrylate as crosslinkers.Structural characterization of chemically crosslinked polymers was made by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) analysis. For thermal characterization of crosslinked copolymers, glassy transition temperatures, Tg values were tried to determine by using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images were taken for determination of surface porosity of semi-IPN?s and hydrogels.Dynamic swelling tests were applied at 25oC for the purpose of investigation of swelling properties of crosslinked copolymers. According to obtained data, parameters concerning swelling kinetics and diffusion mechanism were calculated. For the aim of investigation of adsorption properties of crosslinked copolymers, janus green B was chosen as model molecule. It was determined that semi-IPNs and hydrogels adsorbed dye of janus green B from aqueous solutions in high level. At the last part of the study, semi-IPNs and hydrogels carrying active substance were synthesis. Resorcinol was chosen as active substance. At constant temperature, release of active substance from semi-IPNs and hydrogels carrying resorcinol was investigated.
