This study has investigated the culture among the personnel of the newly established Bilecik University in terms of many variables (age, sex, position at work, level of education and length of service). In this study, survey technique has been employed to evaluate the perception of academic and administrative personnel of the Bilecik University towards the existing culture and to find out the diversifications.The survey has been participated by the personnel of Bilecik University. A total of 494 academic and administrative personnel are employed in the rectorate, 2 institutions, 3 faculties, 6 vocational high schools of Bilecik University. The survey has been given to all personnel in print and collected back in two weeks.?Organizational Culture Scale? by Güven (1996) has been employed in the study as the data collection device. SPSS 17.0 statistics program has been used for the analysis of the data; descriptive analyses have been made by calculations of the degree of reliability, arithmetical average, standard deviation. To determine the perceptional diversities according to the variables defined by us, we have used the One Sample T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test and Levene Test for Independent Groups and One Way ANOVA and Scheffe Test for the comparison of more than two groups.The study mainly aims to assess the level of perception towards the elements of organizational culture among the personnel of Bilecik University, one of the newly established universities and investigate the diversities among the personnel about perception of organizational culture in terms of demographical features.The analyses have shown that within the sub-dimensions (Administration, Materialistic Culture Elements - Rituals, Meetings and Language, Loyalty to the Organization, Working Environment and Adjustment to Changes, Cooperation-Communication, Reward System) defined to test the organizational culture, significant statiscally diversities about the organizational culture are present only in the pre-defined variables of age, position at work and level of education among the personnel of Bilecik University. Within the variable of length of service, partial diversities have been spotted in the dimension of loyalty to the administration and organization. None of the sub-dimensions has shown difference in perception according to the variable of age.Level of perception among the personnel of Bilecik University, for sub-dimensions of organizational culture and according to the 5 point Likert scale, has been observed as minimum 3,21 in the sub-dimension of ?Reward System?, as maximum 3,48 in dimension of ?Loyalty to the Organization?. Concerning these findings, one can conclude that the organizational culture at Bilecik University is still developing, not fully developed yet.
