Abstract (EN)

In this study, the condensation of the compound 1-amino-5- (4-methoxybenzoyl) -4- (4-methoxyphenyl)pyrimidin-2(1H)-one with one of the compounds 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (o-vanillin) separately, new tridentate Schiff base ligands (PAS(L1H), PASM(L2H) PAN(L3H) and PAV(L4H) were synthesized. Tridentate square planar and octahedral structural mononuclear complexes have been synthesized by the reaction of acetate salts of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Pd(II) with obtained ligands. The structures of synthesized compounds were determined using spectroscopic techniques such as FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR, UV-Vis, LC-MS/MS and by thermal method such as TGA/DTA.In addition to spectroscopy techniques elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility and electrolytic conductivity were used. Antibacterial and antifungal activities of all compounds have been investigated 'with the method of micro dilution'. Also electrochemical properties of all synthetized compounds have been investigated 'with cyclic voltammetry (CV)'.
