Regulation, inspection of renewable energy resources and renewable energy policies

For a sustainable and clean future, the share of renewable energy sources in energy production and consumption should be increased. The task of increasing this share and raising awareness falls on the administrations. First of all, states on a global scale will determine policies to increase the use of renewable resources, and administrations will integrate renewable energy incentive mechanisms into their systems as a result of the policies and carry out necessary judicial and administrative regulations. Private legal entities and administrations will cooperate to achieve a result in increasing the role of renewable resources in electricity generation, transmission and distribution activities, which have the characteristics of a public service. The aim of this thesis is to examine the field of renewable energy in terms of administrative law, to specify the authorities responsibilities of institutions in the regulation and control of renewable resources and to discuss them in the context of policies. In line with this priority given to energy and energy resources, touched on regulating renewable energy sources and monitoring organizations and duty, legal regulations and the, public service dimension of electrical activity were discussed and the practice of renewable energy policies in the world an in Turkey has been tried to be explained.
