Abstract (EN)

In energy systems, it is not enough to determine only the current performance; it should also be analyzed how the system can be made more efficient, sustainable and economical. In this context, the overall optimization of the system should be carried out by evaluating all components as a whole. Here, Brayton and Rankine Cycles were optimized according to pressure values, then the combined cycle was optimized for the operating conditions where both cycles operate optimally. The operating conditions obtained as a result of the optimization of the system are given in tables and curves. The collective representation of the optimum operating conditions of the entire system according to the compressor and pump pressures is also given. This analysis has shown how much exergy loss occurs in which devices of the system. In studies aimed at increasing system efficiency, the primary improvement target should be to increase the performance of the devices. In addition, optimizing the heat transfer and expansion processes in particular will significantly improve the second law efficiency of the system.
