Abstract (EN)
The first section of the study details the role of digital transformation in energy trading, the contribution of IoT devices to energy trading, the commercial impact of battery technology, and the application of artificial intelligence in the energy sector. The second section explains the formation of the Turkish energy market, the operation of the day-ahead market, the intraday market, and the balancing power market, and examines the impact of automated trading systems on market costs. The third section discusses how automated trading can optimize imbalance management and deviations from the final production plan, and analyzes the economic benefits of digitalization in energy trading.
