The detection of expressions on the socialization of the child from educational perspective in our innovation period storytelling

The aim of this study is to enrich the texts to be included in the mother tongue textbooks, in this context, to examine the stories of significant writers in Turkish literature and to determine the educational usability of the expressions contributing to the socialization of the child in the analyzed stories. The stories of our storytellers of the Innovation Period were examined with the document analysis model, one of the qualitative research methods, and the stories serving the purpose were selected and interpreted. While collecting the data, the information was recorded with the profiling technique and then classified. In the study, the universe constitutes the determination of the expressions of the stories of the authors such as "Samipaşazede Sezai, Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil, Mehmet Rauf, Hüseyin Cahit Yalçın, Ahmet Hikmet Müftüoğlu, Refik Halit Karay, Fahri Celaleddin Göktulga, Selahattin Enis Atabeyoğlu, Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu and Ömer Seyfettin" who are in our Innovation Period storytelling towards the socialization of the child in terms of education. The sample of the study is the examination of five stories among the stories of the mentioned authors. A total of 566 stories belonging to the authors within the scope of the study were read. In addition to the expressions for the socialization of children, the suitability of the determined stories in terms of usability in values education has also been determined. This research not only provides a different perspective on literary stories, but also shows that Turkish storytelling is a rich source in terms of showing the contributions of stories to both values education and socialization of children.
