Abstract (EN)
In the XX century, economic, social, cultural and technological transformations that started in Turkey have changed the information position and led to the reinterpretation of many phenomena. With the appreciation of knowledge, man's role in society has also changed. People's professional knowledge, skills intellectual abilities stand out. In this context, it is gaining strategic importance for knowledge workers who carry out innovative activities to have innovative human capital. However, in the information age, where rapid changes are taking place, occupational deformations will negatively affect individuals' private and working lives. One of them is workaholism. This study tried to examine the concept of innovative human capital in the context of workaholism by taking it under the lens. Innovative human capital has been examined in the context of the individual. In order to reach an opinion about innovative human capital, the dimensions of education, on-the-job training (vocational training), job satisfaction, and willingness to change (individual innovation) of innovative human capital have been measured separately. In this context, the quantitative research was conducted quantitatively on 489 dentists operating in Turkey. A general job satisfaction scale, Individual innovation scale, WorkBat scale and a questionnaire form of questions measuring socio-demographic characteristics were used to collect data. The obtained data were evaluated with AMOS 24 and SPSS 26 statistical package programs and tested using frequency, internal consistency, factor, T-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analyses. According to the research findings, it has been determined that the dentists' workaholism level is moderate, and their job satisfaction and individual innovation levels are above medium. Of the sub-dimensions that make up individual innovation, openness to experience at the highest level and risk-taking at the lowest level have been determined. Workaholism and work enjoyment with dimensions and feeling driven, individual innovation and resistance to change with sub-dimensions, idea leadership, and openness to experience showed significant differences according to the level of education. A positive and medium-strength relationship between workaholism and job satisfaction was obtained; a positive and very weak relationship between workaholism, on-the-job training and individual innovation was obtained. A high-strength relationship was obtained between the job enjoyment and job satisfaction dimensions, and a low-strength relationship was obtained between feeling driven and job satisfaction. A very weak relationship was also obtained between workaholism's feeling of work enjoyment and feeling driven and the on-the-job training dimension. A positive and weak relationship was obtained between the feeling of pleasure, workaholism's sub-dimensions, individual innovation, idea leadership, openness to experience, and risk-taking. Dec. There was no statistically significant relationship between workaholism and work enjoyment with dimensions and feeling driven, individual innovation and resistance to change with sub-dimensions. As a result, there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the dimensions of workaholism and the dimensions of innovative human capital.
