Local projects in local development: Sample of SERKA

Today, a variety of projects, both private and government supported, are being implemented. Projects can be classified geographically as international, national, regional and local projects. This study was carried out in Iğdır in order to determine the local economy effects of the projects completed between 2010 and 2018. For this purpose, the amount of the grants and funds awarded to the projects determined in the years 2010-2018 will be tried to be proved, the effects of these supports on the locally provided income and the local growth. The effect of the completed and coordinated projects carried out by public institutions, organizations, non-governmental organizations, foreign embassies, the European Union, the United Nations and foreign states in Iğdır between years 2010 and 2018 over the years, which subjects are emphasized on the project applications, the topics covered by the accepted projects will be determined and the relations between the outputs given by the implementation of the projects and the supports given will be examined. However, it will also be investigated to what extent the proposed projects are linked to the strategic and annual development plans of the province. Considering these situations, it will be evaluated whether there are healthy distributions related to the grants, funds and resources that are brought to bear, whether there are appropriate project supports for economic, commercial, social and cultural growth targets in line with the 2023 growth program, focusing on predictive and strategic calculations made in terms of today's problems. In addition, the impact of the packaged activities of the activities between 2010 and 2018 will be evaluated in the EU harmonization acquis. performing a detailed analysis of the resulting output as a result of the evaluation, through this analysis solution for more effective implementation of projects and Igdir in Turkey and recommendations will be presented.
