Özet (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the plant performance and cold tolerance of commercial cultivars Helda under the unheated greenhouse conditions for a total of 12 locally wrapped green beans (Phaselous vulgaris L.) genotype, 8 pure lines and 4 genotypes selected within the scope of previous studies. In addition, phenological and morphological observations were made for 4 genotypes in terms of 41 features in accordance with UPOV and TTSM Bean Feature Certificate rules. The study material was obtained from different locations of our country within the scope of previous studies. For local genotypes, researches have been conducted on flowering time, pod width, thickness, length and weight, number and yield of pods per plant, seed number and yield per plant, and parcel seed yield. To investigate cold tolerance, cell electrolyte leakage and chlorophyll fluorescence measurements were made. SPSS statistics program was used to evaluate the obtained data. As a result of this study, BN-23 and HK-38 were identified as the longest pod length genotypes among local genotypes at 21.30 and 20.53 cm, respectively. GV-41 and HK-38 were superior to Helda with 27.9 and 26.42 mm respectively in terms of pod width. While pod weight varies between 9.05 g and 28.33 g for local genotypes, GV-41 has been determined as the best performing genotype with 28.33 g pod weight. In terms of efficiency, GV-41, ANTO and BN-23 came to the fore. As a result of the examination made in terms of cold tolerance, no significant change was detected. As a result of the examination made in terms of cold tolerance, no significant change was detected. It is possible to associate this with high air temperatures. BN-23, HK-38 and VN-16 are predicted to be used in green bean breeding studies in terms of their properties as a result of observations made in comparison with commercial variety Helda for 4 local genotypes compared phenologically and morphologically, For VN-50, it can be used for kidney bean breeding studies where it is mostly red mullet type.
