Abstract (EN)

Our country obtains most of the energy which it consumes, from imported sources. Energy efficiency is crucial in Turkey for a sustainable devolopment. One of the low-cost method of devoloping a sustainable energy efficiency is to implement quality standarts during the phases of designing, building, comissioning and operating a facility. To utilize Green Building Systems' standarts and implementations and increase energy efficiency means that less product and technology imports are carried out using the existing human sources, equipments and systems in the most effective and efficient way is essential; thus these processes have high economic value for the country. In this study, various green building systems has been examined. Measurement and maintenance implementations and methods which take part in the 2014 version of LEED EBOM (Leadership in Energy and Enviromental Design for Existing Building Operation and Maintenance) and their contributions to the energy efficiency have been examined. The first level and second level works that defined in the source " Procedures for Commercial Building Energy Audits (2011)" prepared and published by ASHRAE have been executed . By this study, it has been shown that it has caused substantial energy loss not to carry out studies leaning on standart, method and measurement at the phases of construction, commissioning and operating of a building. The reasons why the standarts could not be implemented in desired levels and their results have been examined and some suggestions have been done.
