Yeşil Tire periodical (1931-1933)

The first issue of Yeşil Tire Magazine was published on August 1 1931and the last issue was published on july 1 1933. Yeşil Tire Magazine, a local magazine was published every fortnight. In our study, the issue of Yeşil Tire Magazine consisting of thirty on copies were evaluated and it was tried to reveal how local news was announced to the public, the conditions of the period, the social, economic and cultural life of the district. Between 1931 and 1933 many political, judicial, economic, artistic, cultural, literary, historical and national issues were covered in the Yeşil Tire Magazine. Articles about Republic and revolutions are included in Yeşil Tire Magazine. Yeşil Tire Magazine which includes the wishes, requests and complaints of the people and the articles written by villapers, briefly discussed the social and cultural life of the period. The daily life in Tire, the work of local administrators social problems, developements in culturaş and sports life and economic life in Tire can be seen with the Yeşil Tire Magazine which we discussed in our study.
