Bayrampaşa Hamiyet Project" is an example of the context of social and economical support for an orphan children

The first period of human life is considered childhood. This period is an important time frame not only for the child, but also for a society in which the passwords for the life of the future will be fictionalised. Every child has the right to live a life in a safe family that meets their psychological and social needs. When unexpected losses for the child happen, it seems as the duty to minimize the disadvantages of this situation for both social environment and governmental institutions. The aim of the thesis; Determining the positioning and the point of view of the actors from past to present who are participated in solving the psychological and social problems of children who lost either their mother or father, this thesis also examines today's divergent social assistance and social support in a multifaceted way through an applied example. From this point of view, the concepts related to the subject and the historical background are given. After that todays social assistance and social support are taken into consideration in the context of social policies. In this study, "Hamiyet Project" which we thought as an example of alternative practices planned by all parties involved in the solution of any social problem, in accordance with the structure of community based work, according to the needs and human values are examined and evaluated
