Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this work titled "Yiğit Okur (His Life, Art, Works)" is to determine the place in the history of literature by examining the art life and works as well as the biography of the artist who has works in novel, story and memory types. In this way, it is aimed to source new works about the artist and his works that will be introduced to the world of science. In the study includes the life story of Yiğit Okur and his thirteen works published outside of art life, his writings in periodicals, his works and the imprint information of his writings, evaluation his novels and stories. As a result of the analysis of his poems, novels and stories, it can be said that Yiğit Okur's jurist identity as well as the artist's identity contributed significantly to his life and personality. Okur, who made his name heard in Turkish literature with poetry in the 1950s, was observed to have a multi-faceted personality at a young age, while attending high school and later studying at the Faculty of Law, while closely attending theater. It can be said that Yiğit Okur is an intellectual name of Turkish literature in the light of his ideas and literature writings, which he wrote with high consciousness throughout his life.
