The impact of social assistance and solidarity foundations in the fight against poverty: Review of Kelkit Foundation for Social Assistance and Solidarity

Historically, we see that poverty is not a new problem. We see that poverty exists as it has in every period of history. We see this problem not only in economically weak countries, but also in developed and developing countries. Because poverty, which has become a global problem, is a social problem, the intervention of both governments and social organizations becomes inevitable at this point. Various activities called "social funds" and created by the state have been created as part of the fight against poverty. As one of the most important of these funds, we see the Social Assistance and Solidarity Incentive Fund used by the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Solidarity. The General Directorate of Social Assistance and Solidarity (SYDGM) does all the activities you have done through the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations established in the provinces and districts. In this research, the service models of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations and the citizens who benefit from these service models are compared to the socio-economic status of the citizens who benefited from these services before and after the use of these services, and this the views of the citizens who benefited from the services were determined and the tasks that the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations have undertaken at the point of combating poverty.
