Abstract (EN)
As the for electricity increases day by day, efficient and more economicak use of electricity become inevitable. In our country, it takes various measurements to reduce the dependence on foreign energy, for his reason, to check the areas which enrgy is used and to improve the existing systems with technology. One of these areas of work is ligthing, which energy is consumed. Approximately 20 % of energy consumed in our contry is used in lighting. The share of road ligthing is high in totol illumination. In addtition, it is easy for countries to work in this area, since road lighting is easy to control and observe inside exterior lighting. In our country, new generetion Technologies ara rapidlyadopted, follewed and implemented. Lamps and fixtures are used in road lighting have constantly changed with developmentof technology. In this thesis, the comparative analysis of the lamps which are used in road road lighting was made. The new generations of lamps which in used road lighting, have changed with old ones and have survived to the present day. High pressure sodium vapoor lamps that are currently used in road lighting in our country. LED lamps, which are accepted as new generation technological lamps, have started to find wide use in the lighting markets. In this study, analysis of other lamps weere made but mostly high pressure sodium vapor lamps and LED lamps were analyzed. DIALüx program was used to compare these analyzes.
