Seeking efficiency in the legal dimension of anti-corruption: comparative analysis of Niger and Turkey criminal and administrative law system

Considering the reasons indicating that corruption cannot be prevented by simply adopting laws and the fight against corruption continue to be "inadequate", this study examined the main anti-corruption system in Niger and Turkey. This study has made it necessary to work within the scope of multidimensional and different branches of law. Within the scope of the thesis, Niger and Turkey anti-corruption legislation, law enforcement mechanisms, corruption in the public administration in general and public procurement in particular, audit bodies, specialized anti-corruption agencies and other important actors in the fight against corruption namely the media and Civil Society will be examined. In addition, it is considered that combating corruption with criminal law measures alone will not be sufficient, and by making administrative sanctions and regulations, a comparative approach is planned on what can be done effectively regarding the problem of corruption and its solutions.
