Abstract (EN)

This research examines the relationship between managers' strategic thinking abilities and the concept of crisis perception and the effect of strategic thinking abilities on crisis perception. In the research, firstly, the concepts that constitute the variables of the research were explained by scanning the domestic and foreign literature. Then, survey questions were sent to the managers by using the survey technique on the subject. The research is based on the hypothesis that the increase in managers' strategic thinking abilities will significantly affect their crisis perceptions. The population of the research consists of managers who hold executive positions in companies, and a total of 155 surveys were evaluated. The obtained data were examined and analyzed using the statistical package program. According to the answers given to the surveys by the managers who participated in the research; Normality analysis, reliability analysis, T-test, correlation and regression analysis were applied to examine the relationship between strategic thinking abilities and crisis perception. According to the findings obtained within the scope of the research, it was concluded that there is a medium level of significance between managers' strategic thinking abilities and crisis perception, and that managers' strategic thinking abilities have a significant effect on crisis perceptions.
