Abstract (EN)
The tourism sector, which constitutes one of the major income generating parts of the Turkish economy, is important for the success of the hotel management department to increase and to compete in the globalizing world, and for the authority and sanctions that managers establish on the staff and the environments where employees can show themselves within the business. In this context, it is thought that the studies carried out on the subject in question will benefit the relevant parties. In this context, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of the individual creativity and risk-taking behaviors of the kitchen staff managers and other kitchen staff working in hotel businesses. In the study, firstly, local and foreign literature on the concepts constituting the variables of the research was scanned, and the opinions of the kitchen staff of hotel enterprises were conducted by applying the survey technique. The universe of the research consists of all (13) four and five star hotel enterprises operating in Afyonkarahisar province, and a total of 190 personnel surveys were evaluated. The answers given by the participants regarding the survey were analyzed with the methods of factor analysis, reliability analysis, percentage, frequency and arithmetic mean values, t test, variance analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. According to the findings obtained, it was concluded that obedience to the manager has no positive effect on individual creativity and employee performance, and that managerial creativity has no positive effect on success effort.
