Abstract (EN)

Businesses operating in the economic markets desires an efficient and productive workforce in order to be successful and sustain its existence. In this direction, it is aimed to increase the efficiency and productivity of employees by making use of scientific developments and sectoral practices. Management style is also among these applications, which are seen in a wide range from employee orientation to meeting personal development needs. The management style is briefly explained as a combination of the knowledge, skills and behaviors that managers use to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Although there is a considerable amount of work on management style in the literature, the number of studies dealing with the effect of management style on employee loyalty is very few. However, another important element of success for businesses has a loyal workforce. From this point of view, the main purpose of this research is to determine the possible effects of the management style exhibited by the managers on employee loyalty. Within the scope of the research, data were obtained from 389 employees working in five-star hotel businesses operating in Afyonkarahisar, by survey technique. Descriptive statistics (percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation), correlation analysis and regression analysis were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the analysis, it has been concluded that the management style exhibited by hotel management managers has an important effect on employee loyalty and this effect is valid for emotional loyalty and continuance loyalty.
