Abstract (EN)

The subject of the study is related to the problem of women's participation in working life and management. The aim of the study is to reveal the perspectives developed by the institutions in Turkey related to women's participation in work life and management. In the first and second parts of the study, participation from the gender perspective to working life and participation in management were discussed. In the third part, a qualitative research was conducted. Four main actors selected as sample, the research was carried out by using content analysis method through state institutions, non-governmental organizations, international organizations and companies, documents published and discourses of managers and representatives. Documents were examined in detail by content analysis method. The concepts that each actor draws attention to and the differences and similarities between them are presented. The focus of the actors' perspective is that women's participation in working life and it was concluded that the concept that they produce the most policies through is "woman". In the study, gender equality which is an important concept is emphasized frequently. A striking result, unlike other actors, is that international participation of women in working life is not seen as a problematic area. Keywords: Woman, Working, Labour, Management, Turkey.
