Abstract (EN)

With the rapid involvement of technology in every aspect of human life, the transfer of the values that make the mass of people into society gained more importance. Literary works are indispensable tools in conveying the sense, the thinking and the life perception of society to the new generations. Because it is the first literary genre among literary works people meet after they come to the world, tales are used effectively in value transfer. In this research, it is aimed to determine the religious and social values in Yucel Feyzioglu's works and to determine the contribution of these values to Turkish education. In the research, 30 tales books which Yücel Feyzioğlu wrote and rearranged were examined. In the research, 28 social values and 11 religious values were determined from the previous classifications, and the works were examined based on the scanning model of document review. Information about the author's life and understanding of tales was obtained from his research titled "An Interview with Yücel Feyzioğlu on Tales and Values." As a result of the study, it was concluded that the works of Yücel Feyzioğlu could be used effectively in transferring the social, religious, national and universal values mentioned in the Turkish Curriculum (2019).
