Abstract (EN)

With the development of semiconductor technology, laser technology has also developed with semiconductor technology and continues to progress. There is an increasing demand in areas such as Medicine, Defense, Imaging, especially in precision technologies that require high power. These demands vary according to the intended use, such as high power, specific wavelength and specific operating temperatures. Although these different requirements are welcomed by the manufacturers, they also bring many difficulties in terms of production. Apart from the changes in the production phase, various methods have been developed in the testing and characterization phase in order to verify the produced product and perform performance analysis. Installed system was investigated in terms of efficiency and motor performance if preferred in industry and agricultural irrigation, results were reviewed by using obtained system graphs, suggestions were presented for planning and system engineers. In this study, testing and characterization stages of high-power semiconductor laser diode arrays were investigated in detail. To test the laser diodes, a test system was set up on an optical bench and the obtained data were recorded. Optical and electrical properties were evaluated to ensure quality control.
