Abstract (EN)

The paper aims the free vibration, bending, and buckling analysis of carbon nanotubereinforced composite beams are performed using a novel finite element model and a highorder shear deformation theory. Chapter 1 delves into the historical journey of humanity's pursuit of building materials and the evolution of materials utilized in construction. It further explores the characteristics and potential of carbon nanotube materials in detail, followed by a chronological overview of past research conducted in this field. Chapter 2 and 3 focuses on the current study, encompassing the methodologies employed, the findings obtained, and their subsequent evaluation. A finite element model is established, and displacement equations are derived. Potential, kinetic, and work equations are calculated, and the equation of motion is solved using Lagrange's equations. Convergence control is meticulously implemented for all analyses. Calculations for free vibration, bending, and buckling analyses are performed and compared with existing results in the literature, validating the research approach. Chapter 4 meticulously presents the findings derived from the study and provides insightful recommendations to guide future research endeavors. The concluding chapter presents a thorough compilation of references employed in this research.
