Abstract (EN)
Automotive sub-part productions, which take place in the globalizing automotive industry and cover all automotive vehicles in the world, are developed in accordance with certain standards accepted in the automotive industry. Cables that provide electrical transmission are like the veins of the human body for all vehicles produced in the automotive industry. The cables used for automotive vehicles vary according to the physical, chemical and mechanical conditions in the region to be used on the vehicle. The polymeric structure and formulation of the cable insulation is shaped according to the location of the cable in the vehicle, taking into account the temperature in the regions where the temperature class rises in the vehicle. The Turkish automotive industry is developing rapidly in terms of supplying products to global automotive manufacturers. Sub-parts to be used in automobiles must be approved by global automobile suppliers and their chemical structure must be accepted at world standards. As a local supplier, the aim is to be recognized by the global automotive suppliers by producing automotive cables which are resistant to high temperatures. Keywords: Cable, PVC, Polymer, T3, 125˚C.
