Abstract (EN)
Communication provides a key pillar of human existence and relations between societies. Historically, communication has been a tool that allows people to communicate and share information across their ranges. However, today, communication is a concept that does not only limit communication between people. Communication has undergone a great evolution with technological developments and globalization. Today, the internet plays an important role in communication, access, education, business, entertainment and more for billions of people around the world. The history of the Internet reflects an ever-growing and unique story. This thesis examines a Fiber Transformation Project carried out to develop and update the communication infrastructure. Continuity communication issues are changing rapidly and facing increasing data demands. In this context, the limitations of copper cables and the difficulty of traditional communication characteristics are emphasized, as is the strengthening of fiber optic technologies and, in particular, passive optical networks such as GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network). The thesis analyzes the purpose, process and details of the Fiber Transformation Project in detail. The project is carried out at the cost of converting traditional copper networks into fiber optic infrastructures and is represented in a large use in the communication environment. Fiber optic networks make communication services faster, more reliable and sustainable by offering advantages such as high bandwidth, long transmission distances and resistance to electromagnetic interference. As a result, this thesis examines how the Fiber Transformation Project prepares for electricity and future preparations in communication infrastructures. explains.
