This research examined the relationship between the test anxiety of the YGS test takers and their empathy skills. Furthermore, the test anxiety of the YGS test takers and their empathy skills were also examined in terms of various socio-demographic variables. Viewed from this point, The research examined If there is statistically significant differ on these YGS test takers' anxiety and their empathy skills related to The Gender, Subject Fields, The Number of the YGS exam that Examinees took, The School Type, The Education level of their Parents.The participants in this study were 250 students who took the YGS exam in 2015-2016 Academic Year. The research data was collected by "Test Anxiety Inventory (TAI)" and "KA-SI, Empathic Tendency Scale for Adolescents," and "Personal Information Form". A package program was used to analyze the data collection instruments in this study. During the analysis of the data, some independent samples T test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson correlation coefficient was used. Attention was paid in order to meet the assumptions of the techniques applied before the analysis. Tukey's multiple comparison tests was used after the results of variance analysis to determine the source of the differences observed between the argument levels. The results in this study showed that the Test Anxiety of the YGS test takers were not differ statistically significant according to the gender, subject fields, the number of the test that Examinees took and the education level of their parents . On the other hand, the result indicated that The Test Anxiety of the YGS test takers were differed statistically significant according to the school type and also the students of Vocational High School had significantly higher test anxiety than the students of Anatolian High school. The result also showed that Females had significantly higher empathy skills than males, the students study in the field of Turkish/ Math had significantly empathy skills than the students study in the field of Math, the students who study in Vocational High School had significantly higher empathy skills than the students of Anatolian High school when examined the empathy skills of the YGS test takers in this study. The result also implied that YGS test taker students whose mothers' educational levels are secondary schools had lower empathy skills than the YGS test taker students whose mothers' educational levels are primary and universities. According to the result of this study, the YGS test taker students whose fathers' educational levels are secondary schools had lower empathy skills than the YGS test taker students whose fathers' educational levels are universities. In addition, the results also indicated that YGS test taker students whose fathers' educational levels are secondary schools had lower empathy skills than the YGS test taker students whose fathers' educational levels are high schools. On the other hand, the results showed that empathy skills did not differ statistically significant according to the number of the test that YGS examinees took. The correlation of analysis of the study indicated that there was a positive relationship between the test anxiety and the empathy skills. The findings of the research discussed in the light of the relevant literature have been proposals for research that can be performed in the future.
