Abstract (EN)

We assessed functional recovery of face and arm transplantation and arm replantation patients with measures of complexity. We collected surface electromyography (EMG) data from full face and arm transplantation, arm replantation patients and healthy individuals for determining strategy of functional electrical stimulation (FES) and for understanding mechanisms of rehabilitation. Cognitive neurorehabilitation methods used to improve functional movements and facial expressions of the transplantation and replantation patients. Rehabilitation processes was investigated with Fuzzy entropy (FuzzyEn) of surface EMG signals and compared with results of healthy individuals. In the patients, the functional and motor recovery after cognitive rehabilitation are satisfactory.
