Abstract (EN)

In this study, the water quality of Samanlı and Safran Rivers, which are two of the eleven streams within the borders of Yalova Province and which are important because of the passing through the city, were investigated. pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, alkalinity, inorganic nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, phosphate) analyzes were carried out in accordance with EPA methods in samples taken from a total of 5 stations on Samanlı and Safran Rivers for 1 year (53 weeks). With the help of data obtained from all experiments, linear and nonlinear equations were modeled using Matlab and Microsoft Excel programs and Multiple Linear Regression Model. Correlation of these stations, standard deviations between experimental and model calculated theoretical data were calculated. Thus, the compatibility of the calculated values was examined using these models. In this way, linear model equations that can predict the next 8 months are produced and made ready for use. With the help of the models, it was observed that the results obtained in the stations outside the basins were parallel to the experimental data and the error rates were very low. However, when the stations where the streams pour into the sea were examined, high errors due to salinity at sea were obtained.
