Effective parents' views on the socialization of primary school swimming students

Purpose of the study: To determine the views of parents on the effect of swimming sport on the socialization of students. For this purpose, 208 children aged 7-11, out of 779 students who received swimming sports training in Diyarbakır, constitute the sample group. This research was conducted with a descriptive survey model. The data of this study "The Effect of Physical Education Lesson on Socialization Questionnaire" was used. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS 22 program with a 95% confidence interval. As a result, when the previous studies in the literature and the data obtained as a result of this research are evaluated, it is seen that children make social and cognitive contributions to swimming sports, lead a regular and harmonious life with sports, develop positively in family and environment communication, and struggle with struggle. It was determined according to the opinions of the parents that he learned his soul, gained the feeling of congratulating his opponent, gained the skill of collective life with his teammates, learned the pleasure of winning and the sadness of losing. It has been observed that children socialize more with swimming and make positive contributions to their lives.
