Abstract (EN)
In this study, the wear and surface hardness of the samples of AISI 1050 steel underreal working conditions are investigated. One of the samples is boronized for 10 minutes and 30minutes under 850 oC and 950 oC and the other sample is hardened under 845oC and untreated. At the end of the study it is detected that the surface hardness and wear resistance of theboronized AISI 1050 steel are increased comparing to untreated sample of the same steel.Key Words: Boronizing, wear, adhesive wear.
