The purpose of this study is making a contribution to the literature in the field of tourism by investigating the overall approach for the concept of corporate social responsibility among hospitality industry as a subject which hasn?t been examined sufficiently. One of the conclusions aimed to be reached by this study is providing guidance for tourism enterprises that has never performed a corporate social responsibility project before, for shaping their future activities of corporate social responsibility. This study consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The general framework for the concept of corporate social responsibility is described in the theoretical part. In the implementation stage of the study, data compiled from the interviews with the head of corporate social responsibility association and corporate social responsibility approach of Martı Hotels Corporation that promised to obey United Nations Global Compact are utilized as the standards for corporate social responsibility. Furthermore, for the comparison of the performance of hotel chains with these standarts of corporate social responsibility, secondary sources of data were browsed. In the findings and evaluation part, the social responsibility performance of hospitality industry in Turkiye was evaluated and suggestions for a better performance were presented.
