Abstract (EN)
This thesis mainly aims to make a contribution to the idea of ethical crisis and the problem of the possibility of the moral self within the framework of Zygmunt Bauman's conception of ambivalence. In other words, through the relationship between the concepts of ambivalence and ethical crisis in Bauman will be examined the problems in the private and public spheres by investigating the background of the ethical crisis and the ways out of the ethical crisis. However, the concept of ambivalence will be brought to the fore as the possibility of creating moral selves that can be recognized by responsibility to the other. Through these problems, the possibility of an unethical morality will be evaluated with a postmodern perspective offered by Bauman. In this context, Bauman argue that within the framework of postmodern ethical conception, if ambivalence is accepted and learning to live with ambivalence, it is possible to moral selves and to get out of the ethical crisis.
