Abstract (EN)

SUMMARY VARIATION OBSERVED IN MOTOR CHARACTERISTICS AFTER THREE- MONTHS TRAINING PROGRAM OF GROUP OF 10-14 AGED STUDENTS IN SECONDARY EDUCATION 65 subject who are experiment group of 35 of them and control group of 30 of them participated in this study planned aiming at investigating the variations observed in main motor characteristics with training program for three months of secondary education students of 10-14 aged group. The tests were done and evaluated accordance with EUROFIT (European Tests of Physical Fitness) and AAHPERD-YFT (American Alliance for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance Youth Fitness Test) protocol. With regard to motor tests; sit and reach, standing broad jump, bent arm hang, sit ups. standing high jump and shuttle run, 5x10 metres were applied. In addition to these tests, the heights and the weights of subjects were determined before and after exercise. When the results were being examined, meaningful progress (P<0,05) accordance with statistic were found the result data of all tests of working group. In the control group, there were not any change in the tests of shuttle run, 5x10 metres, and standing high jump(P>0,05). But in the test of sit and reach, standing broad jump, bent arm hang, sit ups, meaningful increases were appeared (P<0,05). Observing change in this group, near the natural and climatic changes, it was assumed to cause that the children come to the tests with physical and mental preparation.
