Abstract (EN)
2.ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was, research the effect of the 8-week boxing camp Schedule for male boxers whose ages range between 13-14 on some physical, physiological, and anthropometric measures.Although boxing is primarily a skill, it?s a prior factor for gaining success in boxing because their skill also unites ability, intelligence and force.High performances of the sportsmen of our day can be qualified as the unity of alot of the physiological, psychological, and bio-mechanical factors which are required from them to obtain a performance on high levels. The average age of the boxers in the research group was 13,56 year, they were included to the study at the age of at least 13, and maximal 14. Their lenght average was determined as 149,72cm. The average sporting age was determined as 4,08 year. There was no statistical difference between their weight measures. However, there is an outstanding difference between their body fat rates (P<0,05).Differences were determined in their right hand grip strength (P<0,05). There is no significant difference in the left hand grip strength with regards to the dorsal strength and leg strength measures (P>0,05).Flexibility, anaerobic power, resting and weariness pulse measures weren?t signficant statistically important (P>0,05).The difference between vertical jumpings and the aerobic strength parameters are statistically important (P<0,05).It?s observed that boxers who form the research group physically long, thin, have low fat rates, and thin and slender body structures in accordance with the research results. Their distinction with other sports can be explained with the physical and physiological relations with their different body structures. It?s also considered that the nutritional status, different trainings causes different racial characteristic features to play a role in this context. Some physical and physiological changes have occurred at the end of the programme applied to the research group. The reason why there are no anthropometric distinctions between the measures, is that there are no distinctions observed in short time in body scale developments, and the training method isn?t referred to body scale development. Standards have to be established in accordance with the current skill choice for a sportive success on higher levels, will contribute in reaching national and international success for the sportsmen by developing both physically and physiologically, while performing more convenient periods and properly overloaded training programmes in accordance to insufficient parameters. Keywords:Children 13-14 years of age, Boxing, Physical fitness, anthropometric features, physiological development
