The seasonal changes depending on sport of the physical and physiological characteristics of the wrestlers aged 15-17

107- ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine the seasonal changes depending on sport of the physical and physiological characteristics of the wrestlers aged 15-17. Totaly 44 voluntary students participated in this study. 30 of them, attending Denizli and Milas Wrestling Training Centers, are the experimantal group and 14 of them, randomly choosen Muğla Anadolu İmam- Hatip Lisesi students are control group. For statiscal analysis, the SPSS 10 packet program has been used. The four different results that were measured during the season were compared with each other. The analysis of varience has been used to define the difference between the four different measurement averages of the experimental and the control groups and Tukey HSD Test has been used to find out that which leads to this difference between the four measurments. And the Mann Whitney-U Test has been applied to define the differences between the Experimental and Control groups. The data obtained was analysed by using 0.05 and 0.01 significant levels. According to the analysis of variance results of the experimental and the control groups, the difference beetween the averages of the height, mesamorphy, diastolic blood pressure values of the experimental group and the mesomorphy values of the control group- has been found significant in the level of the endomorphy, vertical camp, anaerobic power, forced vital capacity, reaction to sound (right and left hand), reaction to light (right and left hand), leg strength, shuttle test, push up test and piyolet test (at the bridge ) values of the Experimental group and the sistolic blood pressure values of the control group has been found significant in the level of (P<0,01) It has been understood that according to the result of the Tukey HSD Test of The Experimental and The Control Groups, the difference in the Experimental Group was originated from the first (1 st) measurment of these parameters that are, height, endomorphy, anaerobic power, forced vital capacity, push up and piyolet tes at the bridge; and from the 2 nd measurment of the diastolic blood pressure; from the first and 2 nd measurments of vertical jump, reaction to sound, reaction to light (both right and left hands), shuttle test and leg strength; and from 4 th measurment of the- 108 mezomorfy. However, the difference in the control group was originated from the 2 nd measurment of the systolic blood pressure and the 4 th measurment of mesomorphy According to the result of the Mann Whitney-U Test which was used to compare the Experimental and Control groups, the averages of the 1 st, 2 nd and 4 th measurments of the body weight, the 2 nd measurments of the body fat percentage, the 1 st and 2 nd measurments of the ektomorphy, the 1 st and 2 nd measurments of vertical camp, the 4 th measurment of resting pulse the 1 st measurment of Maximum Volunteer Ventilation, the 1 st measurment of reaction to light right hand, the 4 th measurment of reaction to light left hand, have been found significant in the level of (P<0,05) and the averages of the 3 rd measurment of body weight, the 3 rd and 4 th measurment of the vertical jamp the 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th measurment of Maximum Volunteer Ventilation, the 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th measurments of Mesomorphy, Anaerobic Power, 12 minute running, Max V02, 20 meter running, Diastolic Blood Pressure, Forced Vital Capacity, Forced Expiration Volume, Maximum Voluntary Ventilation Right and Left Hand Grip strength, leg strength, Shuttle Test, Push up Test, Sit and Reach Test, and the 1 st measurments of Reaction to sound right and left hands, Reaction to light left hand, have been significant in the level of (P<0,01), but there hasn't been any significant difference between the other measurments.
