In 18th century's French materialism respect and stand of the Baron D'hollbach

That Materialism placed on the axis of Enlightenment in the 18thcentury after having a long process in the history and that it revealedBaron D?Hollbach in marginal thoughts in the same period formed themain subject of our thesis. The place of the intellectual causer of theFrench Revolution in the history of Philosopy and with whom he interactedand from whom he was affected have been studied. Thus, the importanceof our philosopher?s opinion s in that period have been analysed.This thesis has examined his conception of the world formed as aresult of stating his marginal ideas in a bold manner and all the facts andevents which were political, social and ethic, without neglecting hisboldness. This is the most important point of both our thesis andD?Hollbach?s ideas.To perceive the conception of the world formed by the 18th Centuryafter D?Hollbach?s polemics with the Christian world, and to emphesize theimportance of material in that period is like the Messenger of a new age.Therefore, our subject is to analyse a neglected philosopher in his period.
