Abstract (EN)

After stanbul was conquered, new reconstruction plans had been started in various region ofstanbul. It became a must to reshape the city in accordance with the new folk?s religiousrequirement by building religious structures since there were great differences between the twofolks such as their religious beliefs, structures that had different features.Ones new reconstruction plans started, sometimes it became to build new mosques and tekkesand sometimes it became to change existing churches into mosques and tekkes. Tekkes servedpeople to fulfill their needs in the era of Ottomans until they are closed in 1925. Thus, more than500 tekkes were built in stanbul and neighboring places.Some of these tekkes had been repaired periodically or rebuilt after being demolished. In thiswork, ?Şeyhülislam Tekkesi?, which took place an important role in 18th century, and tekkeswhose first construction date is within 18th century have been studied.Historical evolution of the Şeyhülislam Tekkesi has been searched, its architectural features havebeen studied and its current condition analysis has been done through measurement anddocumentation techniques. Restitution project has been done with the help of clues and founddocuments that have been collected after the work of current condition analysis.
