Abstract (EN)
The global economy has always faced periods of economic instability, which have resulted in economic crises affecting countries worldwide. This article examines the impact of global crises on Turkey and discusses the crises experienced within Turkey. While some of Turkey's crises have stemmed from internal issues, others have been a result of international developments. It is not accurate to attribute Turkey's crises to a single cause, as factors such as political reasons, imbalances in supply and demand, and the behavior of banks have all played a role. This thesis explores various examples and types of crises in detail. Throughout its history, Turkey has experienced multiple military coup, which have sometimes led to crises. The presence or absence of a democratic attitude has also proven to be an influential factor in the emergence of economic crises.
