An outlook on Turkish immigrant literature starting with Turkish immigrant workers in 1960s and its conversion in 1990s

In 1990s, in Germany the writers who have foreignness in their background make a cultural revolution in the contemporary German literature and affected radically the perspective of national literature.The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the turkish version of intercultural literature and the novels of its two famous representatives Feridun Zaimoğlu and Yade Kara, Feridun Zaimoğlu?s Leyla and Yade Kara?s Selam Berlin within the discourse of interculturality in literary studies in a comparative format.Intercultural literary studies that forming the theoretical framework of this study indicates the new phase of comparative literature studies which examine the literary works with an intercultural perspective and imagology which was developed as a sub-branch of comparative literature studies and also focuses interculturality.
