From the 1970s to the present Cengi̇z Çekil and his art

The aim of this study is to associate the formation and development process of artistic productions of Cengiz Çekil with his contemporaries, and to examine the situation and trends of these productions in the artistic environment. The formation of artistic practices and the ways they are opened are reviewed with the knowledge of the artist's life and educational process. The art productions of Çekil and his instructor/academic identity were evaluated with visuals and narratives in these reviews. With these evaluations and taking into consideration Çekil's years of production, intellectual processes and unique ideas emerged with his free attitude, towards the continuation of the idea in the art environment, the desire to pass on to the generations and their movements in this direction were indicated.
