Abstract (EN)

In this work, a series of carbocyclic amines are firstly introduced into the 3-aminocrotonitrile reaction by diazotization to synthesize 2-arylhydrazone-3-ketiminocrotononitrile 1(a-m) compounds. The obtained compounds 1 (a-m) were refluxed with hydrazine monohydrate in ethanol to correspond 5-amino-4-Arylazo-3-methyl-1H-pyrazole derivative 2 (a-m). Diazonium salts of compounds 2 (a-m) were prepared and coupled with the 2,4-quinolindiol compound to synthesize disazo quinolindiol derivatives (3a-m). The synthesized compounds were studied by using several spectroscopic methods and then antimicrobial activities were studied. Compounds 3(a-m) were characterized with FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopic methods and elemental analysis. The newly synthesized compounds were investigated for their antimicrobial activities with disk diffusion method. Some of compounds were found to have moderate activities against test microorganisms.
