Abstract (EN)
In this study, water soluble Schiff bases and their Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes were produced by the condensation reaction of 2,5-diaminobenzene sulphonic acid, salicylaldehyde and 5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde. The stabilities of the metal complexes were investigated by spectroscopic technique at different pH ranges from 2 to 10in buffer solutions. The obtained ligands were characterized by different methods such as melting point, elemental analysis, (C, H, N, S), FT-IR, UV-Vis., X-Ray, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. The structures of Ni(II) and Cu(II) metal complexes were identified by elemental analysis, melting point, magnetic susceptibility, AAS, TG-DTA, FT-IR.
