Abstract (EN)
In this study, three series hetarylazo dyes were synthesized by coupling reaction of some diazotised 2-aminothiophenes with hetaryl coupling component as substituted indole, barbutiric acid, uracil and pyrazolone derivatives. The compounds have been characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, UV spectrophotometric methods and mass spectroscopic results. The apsorption spectrum of the dyes were investigated in DMSO, methanol, acetic acid and chloroform. In addition, the effects of solvents, substitution and acid-base on the absorption spectra of the azo dyes were also examined.
