Abstract (EN)
The metal working fluids are widely used to eliminate the negativities that occur during metal processing. The metal working fluids provide convenience during metal processing with various additives in their content. With the development of the sector and the increase in environmental approach, the contents of metal processing fluids are changing and developing day by day. The most important feature expected from metal working fluid is that it prevents corrosion, bacteria and fungus formation. In addition, it has become important to produce environmentally friendly ecological cutting fluids. Water-oil mixture products are used in metal processing fluids. While providing water cooling duty, it performs functions such as oil lubrication, wear and corrosion protection. In this study, ester derivatives such as 2-ethylhexyl 4- (dimethylamino) benzoate, 2-ethylhexyl salicylate, 2-ethylhexyl benzoate, 2-ethylhexyl 4-methoxy cinnamate in the presence of palladium nanoparticles entrapped in aluminum hydroxide matrix (PdAlO (OH) NPs) and under the heat conditions using 2-ethylhexyl alcohol and some carboxylic acid derivatives were obtained. The synthesized 2-ethylhexyl ester derivatives were characterized by 1H/13C-NMR and IR analysis, and the acid number and saponification number tests of each product were performed. The viscosity test and lubricity test were performed for formulations prepared at different concentrations (2%, 4% and 6%) with each synthesized ester. The metal working fluids that can be used industrially were obtained with the formulations.
