Citizenship in Turkey between 2010-2020 master's thesis in the field of education and teaching subject of their studies and methodologically examination

This study aimed to determine the subject area and methodological trends of the master's theses made within the scope of citizenship education and training in Turkey between the years 2010-2020. The study method was determined qualitatively. The document analysis method was used to examine the graduate studies in the field of citizenship education and teaching with the qualitative research method. The universe of the research consists of master's theses written in the field of citizenship education and teaching between the years 2010-2020 in the database of the Higher Education Council Documentation, Publication and Department. On 20.07.2022, 169 master's theses in the field of citizenship education and training, which were on leave, were reached. Accordingly, master's theses; science, department, institute, university, year, advisor title, thesis language, number of pages, research topics, sampling methods, sample size, study group, research design, data collection tool, analysis method, validity and reliability methods. . Findings were obtained by subtracting the frequency and percentage parts in the categories made. The information was transferred to the computer environment with the thesis review form created by the researcher. In the analysis of these data, descriptive content analysis method was used.
